Administrator, Digital Marketing



The Company is seeking an Administrator, Digital Marketing, to support our rapidly growing team. The Administrator, Marketing, will be responsible for executing all activities related to enhancing our online presence and digital marketing efforts. You will be responsible for managing PPC campaigns, analyzing performance data through Google Analytics, and developing and maintaining our web properties and API integrations. Your work will directly contribute to increasing our properties’ visibility, driving traffic, and optimizing our digital marketing ROI. At Ballast, we think renters can experience San Francisco’s old-world charm without having to endure the 70’s avocado fridge. We work hard to find historic apartment buildings in all the best San Francisco neighborhoods. Our architectural crew then carefully renovates each structure, restoring its unique characteristics, and builds modern amenities into the units. Primary Responsibilities

  • PPC Campaign Management:
    • Develop, implement, and manage PPC campaigns across Google Ads and other platforms
    • Optimize campaigns to achieve maximum ROI by adjusting bid strategies, keywords, and ad copy
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Use Google Analytics and other tools to track and analyze website traffic, PPC campaign performance, and other key metrics
    • Generate regular reports to provide insights and recommendations to the marketing team
  • Web Development:
    • Maintain and update the company website, ensuring optimal performance, user experience, and compliance with SEO best practices
    • Develop new web pages, features, and functionalities as required
  • API Integration and SQL Database Management:
    • Integrate various APIs (e.g., property management software, CRM platforms) with the company website and manage SQL databases to support web applications and data analysis
  •  Collaboration and Strategy:
    • Work closely with the marketing and IT teams to develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies
    • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and technologies to recommend improvements and innovations


Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Strong foundation in digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, and Google Analytics
  • Experience with web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS
  • Knowledge of API integration and experience managing SQL databases
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills


Key Skills and Competencies

  • Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications
  • Experience with CRM software and property management systems including Yardi
  • Understanding of the real estate or property management industry
