Senior Manager, Projects

SUMMARY

The Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Projects to drive projects and provide oversight to the day-to-day operations for the Company’s multifamily portfolio based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Senior Manager, Projects is responsible for planning and managing project objectives and driving the project from inception to completion, capturing project scope, facilitating solution development, collaborating with departmental and Senior / Executive Leadership, and leading team members using standard project management methodologies and tools. The Senior Manager, Projects will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Company is operated as a “best of class” residential management company.

The Company is a property management company focused on managing residential apartment properties in the Bay Area. The Company seeks to attract and retain motivated real estate operations professionals with an established track record of system building and problem solving within a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Organize and guide property management processes in accordance with established state, city, and internal policies in addition to standard project management procedures
  • Identify project objectives, potential risks, and suggest solutions
  • Work with the Director to establish and maintain a set of standard metrics for various departments
  • Suggest improvements to employee performance metrics, training programs, and internal standard operating procedures
  • Manage communications with vendors as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead interdepartmental projects and report on KPIs to the Director and executives
  • Develop internal standard operating procedures and document those SOPs on the company’s knowledge base
  • Provide performance feedback to the manager of each project team participants

 

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in operations within residential real estate including: accounting, finance, leasing, landlord/resident relations, and property management is preferred
  • Minimum two years of project management experience, preferably in real estate
  • Proven ability to independently develop solutions to complex challenges, present to stakeholders and obtain buy-in from executives, managers, and team members
  • Industry certifications preferred (PMP, PGMP, ARM, CCRM, CCIM, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and strong Excel abilities
  • Familiarity with Monday.com and Yardi preferred
  • Knowledge in multifamily property operations preferred
