Senior Administrator, Pre-Design

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Administrator of Pre-Design to support our rapidly growing team. The Pre-Design Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and executing all activities related to the capture of our San Francisco and Berkeley properties. The main purpose of this role is to maintain our as-built documentation and facilitate data capture to improve existing conditions documentation and provide much-needed remote drafting oversight.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Schedule site work, with the Scanning Team, to support the production of new as-built drawings for new acquisitions in the portfolio
  • Maintain all reporting for the pre-design pipeline
  • Manage remote drafting support for all pre-design work
    • Updating existing plans for renovation projects
    • Overseeing the creation of new as-built sets from legacy plans and point clouds
  • Coordinate access with our internal teams and real estate brokers to complete building scans
  • Oversee that scanned permit sets are being uploaded into Procore correctly
  • Process point cloud data using Cyclone Register 360
  • Organize and distribute Matterport links and photos after site work
  • Upload all data captured on-site to the appropriate places (BOX, Matterport, Procore) and help maintain point cloud and photo tour archives
  • Annotate and organize Matterport tours as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years Project Management and Managerial experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience producing as-built plan sets for multi-family and/or commercial projects
  • Experience using camera equipment and iOS apps, experience with 3D scanning equipment (BLK 360) is a plus

 

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Must be a good communicator (written and oral)
  • Must be able to maintain effective documentation, for our purposes this will be in Procore
  • Strong ability to think critically, solve problems logically and make well-reasoned decisions while working on site
  • Experience with BLK 360 scanners is a plus
  • Experience with Procore also a plus
  • Proactive, well-organized, and results-oriented with the ability to lead and participate in multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort and experience learning new software and troubleshooting equipment on site
  • Exercise significant independent judgement, initiative, responsibility, and accountability
  • Diplomatic and thoughtful with outside parties including remote teams and real estate brokers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
